If you know the guy on the right, Adam Levine, then you probably have heard "Girls like you". It is the song that broke the charts, and featured many prominent women across various industries. One of the women who featured in the video of the song is none other than Alex Morgan (on the left). Alex Morgan, beyond soccer, has been active in poplar media and she has made her presence known.

Besides being a featurette in a video, Morgan has collaborated with other organizations to be active through visual media. The content she is involved in share common features i.e. empowering women. Whether it be a collaboration with Maroon 5, Jimmy Kimmel Live or other organizations, Morgan values empowering women and gender equality. Morgan depicts these values and aims to influences one specific group of people: young females. 

Alex Morgan is building her brand by positioning her presence towards girls, especially younger ones. She is following the distribution channel these young girls mostly consume content i.e. videos. Either be through a song, a late night TV show or collaboration in a youtube channel, she is reaching out to aspiring girls.

Her collaboration with Tampax to encourage young females to stay active and encourage them to take part in sports. She relates to young girl through her own statement "I'm excited to join forces with Tampax to continue to motivate girls to not let anything stand in their way, especially their periods, so they can be confident, stay active and have amazing experiences".




Morgan also collaborated with another Youtube Channel "Always" which defied the traditional stigma of playing "like a girl" and redefined it as play like a girl. This project help to alleviate the moral blockade hindered young females towards sports and motivated them for gender equality. Morgan also helped a young female athlete by fulfilling her wish to be an athlete. She supported the young athlete through her neurological condition and helped her get back into the field.

Morgan's has slowly but surely made significant strides to position her brand towards young females. Her presence in social media to her collaborations with various organizations or youtube channels, her brand image among young girls is big and visual distribution she is using to reach her audience has certainly helped her to "position" herself in their mind.
